The Tragic Truth

Grades are getting low and students are getting high. Instead of reaching for the sky we reach for the bottle. Girls are going around from on guy to the next, then you see them shedding tears because they are left with nothing but a belly. Parents along with their older children sitting on the porch with a cigar in one hand and a bottle in the other. You look around and see that no one gives a damn about others. It seems like everyone is just looking for a quick fix and not real love. It seems like we take one step forward and two backwards. We lose sight of what’s important. We stab each other showing no remorse. Everyone screwing each other up instead of helping each other. The tragic truth is this is reality. I wonder what’s next for today’s society. But most of all I wonder what the future holds.
